Tamara Jezic represents immigrants before Immigration Court, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Ms. Jezic briefed and argued Hernandez Avalos v. Lynch, 784 F.3d 944 (4th Cir. 2015) and Jaghoori v. Holder, 772 F.3d 764 (4th Cir. 2014), cases which resulted in published opinions in her clients' favor. Ms. Jezic has filed claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act against the United States government for its treatment of immigrants at the border.

Ms. Jezic joined Yacub Law Offices in Woodbridge, Virginia, in 2013. Prior to joining Yacub Law Offices, Ms. Jezic worked as a trial attorney for a personal injury law firm in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She also represented low-income immigrant survivors of domestic violence for six years in Washington, DC, first as an attorney at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia, and then as an attorney at Women Empowerment Against Violence (WEAVE).  Ms. Jezic spent two and a half years in Ecuador as a consultant the Center for Economic and Social Rights and Oxfam America.

Ms. Jezic is a graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Law School. She is licensed to practice law in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
